Just a few of our projects
Stone Barn Extension and Refurbish
The instruction was to convert the barn for habitable use. A considerable amount of stone work had to be rebuilt. The barn provided a large lounge dining and kitchen area. A central oak staircase was built to access the master bedroom with en-suite facility. The extension provided a further two bedrooms and bathroom.
Barn Reconstruction
This oak barn had been dismantled for some years. We were charged with the task of rebuilding, using as much of the original timbers as possible. A considerable amount of the timbers was too badly decayed to reuse. New oak timbers were sourced directly from the estate, Sawn and shaped to the required sizes directly on site. It was necessary to source other components for the build from around the country, Roof tiles were obtained from a Convent in Hertfordshire. Stone was sourced locally from West Hoathly quarry.
Extension and Internal Refurbishment
This was an extensive internal alteration to an existing property and the construction of a large extension to provide a five-bedroom family home.
